Bags can be made as narrow as 2″ and up to 14″ wide. Depending on the barrier material required, a seam on the back will be either a fin style or overlapped. A fin style back seam is used when the material is heat sealable only on one side. Materials that are heat sealable on both sides can overlap one another and provide a seal that is flat along the back of the bag.
Much like the stand up feature of a pouch, a bag can be made to have far greater capacity. When gussets are pushed into the side of a bag, the volume can be greatly increased. We can help you design a perfectly sized bag with a proper barrier material to keep your product fresh well into the future. Hang holes can be added for retail display convenience.
